Job summary

MetroCenter Signworks is seeking a Project Manager to guide signage projects from intake to invoicing in Nashville. You will handle basic design and estimating, communicate with customers and vendors, and coordinate production and installation.

The role emphasizes accuracy, organization, and strong math skills, with potential for partial remote work in the future. A background in signs and proficiency with Adobe Illustrator are important.

Qualifications

• Familiar with sign industry terminology and practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple projects.
• Solid basic math, geometry, and dimension/area understanding.
• At least three years in a full-range sign business.
• Bonus for experience with wide format printers, laminators, and plotters.
• Extra bonus points if familiar with Corebridge.

Have you been working in the sign business a few years, but feel stuck in your current role and want to expand your responsibilities? MetroCenter Signworks has an immediate need for a Project Manager who can lead a project from intake through final invoicing. In any given week this can include basic design and estimating, working with customers and vendors, detailed design for production, coordinating installation, and tracking project status. Work may also include print production and assisting our installation team.

This is the knowledge, experience, and skills you need to do well in this role:

• Familiar with the terminology of the sign industry
• Basic knowledge of materials, production methods, and installation practices for all types of signs
• Great written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient with Adobe Illustrator, and have a good eye for design
• Very organized and able to keep track of multiple projects
• Good basic math skills (addition/subtraction, multiplication/division, basic geometry) and solid grasp of dimensions and area
• At least three years of experience in a full-range sign business
• Bonus points for experience operating a wide format printer, laminator, and plotter
• Extra bonus points if you are familiar with Corebridge

Besides that, you need serious attention to detail and take pride in great workmanship.

This is a full time position working business hours in the MetroCenter area of Nashville. In person to start, potential for partial remote work in the future.

$24-26/hour, paid holidays, paid vacation, 401K plan
