Job summary

MetroCenter Signworks Inc. in Nashville is seeking a Project Manager to lead a project from intake through final invoicing. Expect involvement in design, estimating, coordinating with customers and vendors, and guiding production and installation.

You should know sign industry terminology, understand materials and installation practices, communicate clearly, and be highly organized with a track record in a full-range sign business.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of sign industry terminology and processes.
• Experience in a full-range sign business (>=3 years).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to estimate, design, and coordinate production and installation.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic math skills for measurements and geometry.

Responsibilities

Have you been working in the sign business a few years, but feel stuck in your current role and want to expand your responsibilities? MetroCenter Signworks has an immediate need for a Project Manager who can lead a project from intake through final invoicing. In any given week this can include basic design and estimating, working with customers and vendors, detailed design for production, coordinating installation, and tracking project status. Work may also include print production and assisting our installation team.

This is the knowledge, experience, and skills you need to do well in this role:

• Familiar with the terminology of the sign industry
• Basic knowledge of materials, production methods, and installation practices for all types of signs
• Great written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient with Adobe Illustrator, and have a good eye for design
• Very organized and able to keep track of multiple projects
• Good basic math skills (addition/subtraction, multiplication/division, basic geometry) and solid grasp of dimensions and area
• At least three years of experience in a full-range sign business
• Bonus points for experience operating a wide format printer, laminator, and plotter
• Extra bonus points if you are familiar with Corebridge

Besides that, you need serious attention to detail and take pride in great workmanship.

This is a full time position working business hours in the MetroCenter area of Nashville. In person to start, potential for partial remote work in the future.

$24-26/hour, paid holidays, paid vacation, 401K plan
