AlphaHire is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial interior construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will manage budgets, schedules, procurement, and documentation while coordinating with clients, general contractors, subcontractors, and field teams.

The role requires 3+ years in project management for commercial interiors and hands-on experience with drywall, framing, acoustical ceilings, and interior finishes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management experience in commercial interior construction.
• Experience managing drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, flooring, or related interior finishes.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial interior construction projects from contract award through final completion and closeout.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, procurement plans, and execution strategies.
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documents to verify scope and identify issues.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, GCs, subs, suppliers, and field personnel throughout each project.
• Monitor budgets, labor productivity, material procurement, subcontractor performance, and overall financials.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, billing, and project documentation.
• Conduct routine jobsite visits to monitor quality, safety, productivity, and schedule performance.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates to clients and leadership.
• Coordinate punch-list, final documentation, turnover, and closeout activities.

This role is responsible for managing every phase of project execution while ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate has a strong background managing projects involving commercial drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, flooring, and interior finishes. You'll work closely with clients, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams while overseeing budgets, schedules, procurement, and project documentation. • Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, contracts, scheduling, budgeting, and project controls.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Experience managing subcontractors, vendors, client relationships, and multiple concurrent projects.
• Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms is preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
