Job summary

Owen Thomas Group is seeking an experienced Commercial Project Manager to oversee planning, coordination, and execution of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion in West Palm Beach, FL. The ideal candidate has strong background in commercial or multifamily construction and can manage multiple projects, subcontractors, and stakeholders effectively.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and overall project plans.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Review plans, specifications, contracts, and project documents.
• Manage subcontractor bidding, buyout, scope review, and contract execution.
• Monitor project costs, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and payment applications.
• Lead regular project meetings and provide clear project updates to ownership and senior leadership.
• Identify and resolve project issues while maintaining schedule and budget objectives.
• Ensure projects are constructed in accordance with plans, specifications, quality standards, and applicable building codes.
• Track project progress and maintain accurate documentation throughout construction.
• Work closely with field superintendents to coordinate day-to-day construction activities.
• Manage project closeout, punch lists, warranties, and turnover.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, design professionals, and project partners.
