Job summary

Monteith Construction is seeking a Project Manager to plan, direct and coordinate multiple construction projects across the Carolinas. You will oversee scheduling, budgets, and coordination with Superintendents and the Owner-Architect-Builder team. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Experience with Procore and schedule management is required; Primavera P6 is a plus. Travel across NC/SC may be needed to manage projects and ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of construction project management experience.
• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Project management software experience: Procore, Newforma, etc.
• Ability to read and understand construction schedules; Primavera P6 preferred.
• LEED AP or LEED training encouraged.
• Willingness to travel (NC/SC).

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate multiple construction projects and oversee their scheduling and implementation.
• Maintain regular communication with Project Superintendents and project stakeholders.
• Manage project budget and cost to maximize return; review changes and submittals.
• Ensure drawings and specs are reviewed for design deficiencies and code violations; resolve with Architect.
• Review billings and subcontractor costs to mitigate financial risk and maximize cash flow.
• Coordinate subcontractor labor and material deliveries; ensure on-time delivery.
• Manage project documents in Procore; co-lead meetings with Superintendent.
• Travel as needed to project sites in NC/SC.
