Job summary

Monteith Construction is seeking a Project Manager to plan, direct, and coordinate multiple construction projects in the Carolinas. You will manage schedules, budgets, and team communications to deliver high-quality buildings on time and within budget.

The role requires 3–5 years PM experience, a related degree, and strong communication skills. Procore and scheduling software experience preferred; occasional travel throughout NC/SC is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of construction project management experience.
• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with project management software; Procore, Newforma, etc.
• Ability to read construction schedules; Primavera P6 preferred.
• LEED AP or LEED training encouraged.
• Willingness to travel NC/SC.
• Ability to work non-traditional hours when needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate development of multiple construction projects.
• Coordinate with Project Superintendents to keep on schedule and within budget.
• Represent Monteith on Owner-Architect-Builder team; build strong relationships.
• Ensure quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review budgets, change orders, and submittals to maximize cash flow.
• Manage project documents in Procore and coordinate subcontractor deliveries.
• Lead meetings with Owner and Architect to ensure timely delivery.
