LeoForce is seeking an experienced Project Manager for commercial construction projects in Lakewood Ranch, FL. You will plan, coordinate, and implement projects within budget, scope, and schedule, while reporting updates to stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of PM experience in commercial construction, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, and familiarity with construction management software. PMP is a plus.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of the construction project from planning to implementation.
Allocate resources for assigned projects.
Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors.
Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients.
Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs.
Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications.
Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Building Science, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the commercial construction industry.
Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods.
Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
Understanding of all facets of the construction process.
Familiarity with construction/ project management software.
Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
A team player with leadership abilities.
PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an advantage.
