Jobot is seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager to lead large commercial projects in a fast-paced environment. The role focuses on core responsibilities from inception to completion, ensuring on-time delivery and budget adherence, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

  • 5-10+ years of proven experience as a Project Manager in the Commercial Construction Industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring they adhere to quality standards, deadlines, and budget.
  • Review and interpret blueprints, plans, and project specifications to determine the appropriate construction methods.
  • Develop and implement project work plans and make revisions as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Manage project budget and schedule including tracking and controlling construction costs to avoid cost overruns.
  • Conduct contract negotiations with clients, architects, and subcontractors to secure the best possible terms.
  • Identify and analyze risks associated with the project, develop risk mitigation strategies and manage the implementation of risk mitigation plans.
  • Ensure all construction activities comply with construction safety rules and regulations and promote a culture of safety within the team.
  • Lead and manage the project team, fostering a collaborative environment and resolving any conflicts that may arise.
  • Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Construction Project Manager (Core and Shell experience) to join our dynamic team! As a Commercial Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and managing construction projects for our firm.

This role demands a driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large scale commercial construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. This role requires a skilled individual who can lead teams, read blueprints, control costs, negotiate contracts, manage risks, and uphold the highest standards of construction safety.

Responsibilities/Job Duties:

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5-10+ years of proven experience as a Project Manager in the Commercial Construction Industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, OR related working experience.
  • Experience managing Large Projects (between $50M-$100M or higher) required.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
  • Excellent ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
  • Proven experience in cost control and contract negotiation.
  • In-depth understanding of construction risk management.
  • Strong commitment to construction safety practices.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in project management software (Procore desired).
