Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager, ideally with 3+ years in commercial paint estimating and/or project management. A successful candidate will be a highly organized team player who can deliver in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will handle all aspects of assigned projects from beginning to closeout.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Establish a safety & people-first culture.
  2. Mentor, coach, and develop all team members.
  3. Ensure comprehensive bid & cost evaluation for each project, leveraging experience to look beyond the information.
  4. Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers, project teams, architects, engineers, vendors, etc.
  5. Respond to RFPs and deliver formal project presentations.
  6. Conduct job site visits to review conditions and collaborate with Operations & Field Management.
  7. Develop and monitor preconstruction meeting schedules.
  8. Present updates on job costs, schedules, and budgets regularly.
  9. Review all project documents for completeness and accuracy.
  10. Develop creative and innovative solutions tailored to each project.
  11. Identify, adapt, and resolve complex issues.
  12. Achieve project goals and metrics.
  13. Lead, manage, and motivate project teams throughout all phases.
  14. Identify areas for improvement and propose corrective actions to address challenges and foster growth.
  15. Adhere to high ethical standards and comply with all relevant regulations and laws.

Core Skills:

  • Leadership
  • Strong knowledge of commercial painting (preferred but not required)
  • Awareness of construction site safety standards
  • Proficiency in reading plans, specifications, and related documents
  • Monitor project goals and outcomes actively
  • Experience with Planswift, Procore, BuildingConnected, PlanGrid, MS Office Suite
  • Foster cooperation among field and office staff
  • Effective listening and communication skills; receptive to feedback
  • Strategic thinking and planning abilities
  • Ability to track and interpret financial indicators
  • Resilience in handling challenges and stress
  • Professional assertiveness
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
