The ideal candidate will have a strong background in site development, infrastructure design, permitting, and client relations. This role requires technical expertise, project leadership, and the ability to manage multiple projects while mentoring junior staff.Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage land development projects from concept to completion.
- Design and oversee site development plans, including grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater management.
- Coordinate with clients, agencies, and internal teams to ensure project success.
- Oversee the permitting process and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Prepare and review engineering reports, plans, and specifications.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and project teams.
- Engage in business development, including proposal preparation and client relationship management.
Qualifications & Skills:- 4+ years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on land development.
- EI or PElicense in Florida.
- Strong knowledge of site design, grading, drainage, stormwater, and utility design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, stormwater modeling software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience navigating permitting processes with agencies such as SFWMD, municipalities, and counties.
- Excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
