Civil Engineer/Project Manager

A challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineer/Project Manager to lead and manage land development and infrastructure projects across the United States.

Position Overview

We seek a Civil Engineer/Project Manager to oversee planning, design, entitlement, and construction of various projects. Responsibilities include ensuring project quality, cost-effectiveness, timely delivery, and managing staff, consultants, and stakeholders. You will also provide technical guidance and leadership to engineers, designers, and technicians.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, design, and manage civil engineering projects such as land development, roads, water supply, sewer, and drainage systems.
  • Prepare and review proposals, contracts, budgets, schedules, specifications, drawings, and reports.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, regulators, and public agencies.
  • Monitor project progress, quality, and performance, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with codes, standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Serve as the main contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and agencies throughout projects.
  • Foster positive stakeholder relationships, manage expectations, and provide updates.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, manage changes and conflicts.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance and provide technical support.
  • Lead and motivate project teams, providing guidance and mentoring.
  • Promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  • Contribute to improving engineering processes and tools.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Minimum 7+ years of civil engineering and project management experience, preferably in land development.
  • Successful track record of delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and similar software.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
