Job Description

We are seeking a Project Manager (Heavy Highway – Roadway/Bridge projects) in the central Ohio region.

Summary

• Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of heavy highway/bridge construction projects.
• Ensures project goals are achieved within the prescribed time frame and budget, managing project engineers, superintendents, and foremen.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Reviews project proposals to determine scope, budget, staffing, and resources.
• Establishes work plans and staffing for each project phase.
• Coordinates with project staff to assign duties and responsibilities.
• Oversees project progress, modifies schedules as needed, and prepares reports.
• Provides technical advice and resolves issues with project personnel.
• Coordinates with government agencies and subcontractors.
• Analyzes and executes CPM-based project schedules.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Includes interviewing, hiring, training, assigning work, performance appraisal, and resolving issues.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination.
