Job summary

SLSCO LTD in the United States is seeking an experienced Assistant Superintendent to support CBP border infrastructure Design-Build projects across the Southwest. The role focuses on day-to-day field execution of complex construction work including vertical barriers, waterborne barriers, patrol and access roads under a fast-track federal contract.

The Field Assistant Superintendent will work with the Project Superintendent, coordinate subcontractors, monitor progress against schedule and budget,

Qualifications

• College degree in Construction Management or technical discipline preferred.
• 5+ years of experience on commercial or civil infrastructure projects (heavy civil preferred).
• Experience with DOD/USACE/NAVFAC a plus.
• 30-hour OSHA certification a plus.
• U.S. Citizenship; valid driver's license; pass background/security checks.
• Ability to speak, read and write fluent English.
• Proficiency with MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Serve as Field Superintendent reporting to Sr. Construction Superintendent.
• Coordinate subcontractors and crews; manage production and sequencing.
• Monitor progress per schedule and budget constraints.
• Develop site utilization and traffic plans to support logistics.
• Interface with Safety, Quality, Security, and PM teams for project execution.
• Participate in daily/weekly construction meetings and update scheduler.
• Maintain daily activity logs and reports; ensure quality workmanship.
