Job summary

FITS, LLC is seeking a seasoned Project Manager in Puerto Rico to lead regulated infrastructure projects from planning through completion. You will survey sites, manage documentation, and ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and budgets.

The role demands strong data analysis, leadership, and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate diverse teams, prepare reports, and deliver high-quality results on time and within cost targets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 5+ years of PM experience in regulated industries.
  • Proven problem-solving and root-cause analysis capabilities.
  • Shift: administrative and based on business needs.
  • Experience in all project stages: documentation, change controls, scheduling.

Responsibilities

  • Survey the area of the job, paying attention to environmental issues or government codes.
  • Prepare reports on findings and consult with others involved in the project.
  • Understand building codes, laws and regulations that affect projects.
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of cost estimation and total project cost.
  • Perform daily site inspections and monitor work permits.
  • Monitor all system tests for sewage, drainage or elevation levels, materials and equipment.
  • Monitor contractor and subcontractor labor costs.
  • Supervise a job to completion within budget, schedule and quality.
  • Communicate effectively; display interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Pay meticulous attention to detail; strong analytical and math skills.
  • Assure project safety and compliance requirements are met.
  • Submit daily and weekly progress reports.

  • Bachelor'sDegree in Engineering and at least five (5) years of experience in Project Management activities within the regulated industry.
  • Problem-solvingand root cause analysis.

  • Experience in:
    • Project Management skills.
    • All project stages:developing documentation: change controls, business cases, scheduling, etc

  • Survey the area where the job is to take place, paying special attention to environmental issues or government codes that need to be considered.

  • Demonstrate great understating of cost estimate and determine the total cost of a project.
  • Perform daily site inspections, monitor, and provide work permits
  • Monitor all applicable system tests regarding sewage, drainage or elevation levels, Materials andEquipment.
  • Monitor contractor and subcontractor labor costs.
  • Fully accountable and responsible for supervising a job to its completion while paying special attention tothe allotted budget, schedule, and quality
  • Must effectively communicate, excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Need to pay meticulous attention to detail, must have strong analytical, math and problem-solving skills
  • Assure Project Safety and Compliance requirements are met
  • Submit daily and weekly progress reports
