Job summary

Convergint Technologies, LLC is seeking a full-time Project Manager in the Cedar Rapids area to oversee assigned projects from start to finish. You will manage planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and field installation while maximizing customer satisfaction and safety.

You will interface with clients and internal teams, ensuring projects stay on budget and schedule and deliver high-quality results in a dynamic, growth-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• PM experience in a technical environment (building automation, fire/life safety, electronic security or AV).
• Coaching, mentoring and staff development; strong leadership orientation.
• Team leadership, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Proactive, adaptable with strong written and verbal communication.
• Financial analytics for cost control and project profitability.
• Proficiency with MS Office and basic IT networking concepts.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of assigned projects from award through completion.
• Prepare installation plans, schedules, and job procedures.
• Translate customer needs into proposals and plans; review costs and bid.
• Negotiate contracts, supervise design engineering, and manage labor/subcontractors.
• Communicate project requirements to the team and maintain records.
• Ensure safety, quality, and customer satisfaction; manage procurement.
