Job summary

MPI, a market-leading interiors contractor, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager to lead Class A office interiors projects in the Southeast. You will manage schedules, budgets, and documentation, coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and client stakeholders to keep projects on track.

The successful candidate has a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field, experience in commercial construction, and strong communication skills to support

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
  • Experience supporting or managing commercial construction projects.
  • Experience within Class A office interiors, tenant improvements, healthcare, financial institutions, or similar commercial sectors.
  • Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration.
  • Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work effectively in a team-based environment.
  • Desire to grow within a stable organization known for strong employee retention and career development.

Responsibilities

  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and client stakeholders.
  • Support preconstruction, procurement, and project planning activities.
  • Track project costs and assist with financial reporting and forecasting.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to quality expectations.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to repeat business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with field teams to resolve construction challenges and keep projects progressing efficiently.
