Job summary

Raymond Search Group is seeking a Project Manager to supervise and coordinate mechanical construction projects, ensuring safety, on-time, and on-budget delivery. You will own planning, scheduling, cost control, and labor relations while mentoring Project Engineers and building strong client relationships.

Expect autonomy with a high degree of ownership, and a focus on LEAN principles, BIM coordination, and effective conflict resolution across diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• 5+ years in construction project engineering/management.
• 3+ years in mechanical construction preferred; strong leadership and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop project schedules, budgets, and billing schedules.
• Coordinate pre-construction meetings and job walks.
• Produce subcontracts and purchase orders.
• Negotiate with GCs and clients; manage RFIs and cost changes.
• Apply LEAN principles and support BIM coordination and commissioning.
• Review owner contracts and coordinate trainings.
• Mentor and develop Project Engineers.

About the Role

Project Manager to supervise and coordinate the safe, on-time, on-budget completion of mechanical construction projects. You'll own planning, scheduling, cost control, and labor relations, while building strong client relationships and mentoring Project Engineers. The role offers a high degree of autonomy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• 5+ years in construction project engineering/management
• 3+ years in mechanical construction strongly preferred
• Strong leadership, business acumen, and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage field crews and resolve conflict across diverse teams

Work Environment:

Office and construction field settings; may involve site walks, stairs, and lifting up to 20 lbs.
