Job summary

CyberCoders is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead mechanical and industrial construction projects from initiation through closeout. You will plan, coordinate, and control all phases to deliver safe, on-time, and on-budget outcomes while meeting quality and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in mechanical, industrial, or construction environments.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification preferred.
• Proven experience managing budgets, schedules, procurement, and contractors.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, industrial equipment, and construction methods.
• Proficiency with project management software (MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work onsite and travel between project locations as needed.

• Lead project planning and execution including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Develop and maintain realistic project schedules and monitor progress against milestones using project management tools.
• Manage project budgets, cost forecasting, and change orders to control financial performance.
• Coordinate mechanical, industrial, and construction contractors and subcontractors; ensure work is sequenced and integrated.
• Oversee procurement and materials management to ensure timely delivery and installation of equipment and materials.
• Implement and monitor quality assurance and quality control processes to meet project specifications and standards.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; implement corrective actions and contingency plans.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and company safety policies on all project sites.
• Serve as primary client and stakeholder contact; provide regular progress reports and briefings.
• Manage contract administration, including review of scopes, claims, and contractor performance.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, drawings, reports, and closeout packages.
• Coach and mentor project engineers, site supervisors, and field teams.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead mechanical and industrial construction projects from initiative through closeout. The successful candidate will plan, coordinate, and control all project phases to deliver safe, on-time, and on-budget outcomes while meeting quality and regulatory requirements. This role requires hands-on construction and mechanical knowledge, strong stakeholder management, and proven project management skills in industrial environments.

• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, industrial equipment, and construction methods.
• Proficiency with project management software (MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar) and Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., ASME, NEC, local building codes) and strong commitment to safety practices (OSHA or equivalent certification preferred).
• Ability to work onsite as required, manage multiple priorities, and travel between project locations as needed.
