Job summary

Masis Professional Group seeks an experienced Construction Project Manager to coordinate heavy civil, water, or wastewater projects. You will manage schedules, budgets, QA/QC, and safety, while supporting field teams and owners/engineers.

You will review drawings, prepare RFIs, change orders, and ensure accurate documentation. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for on-site leadership and collaboration with stakeholders.

  • Organize, maintain, and monitor project documentation (contracts, plans, RFIs, submittals, change orders).
  • Provide day-to-day administrative and technical support to the project team.
  • Monitor construction activities through field observations and QA/QC.
  • Develop RFIs, solve problems, and coordinate field and project issues while maintaining schedules and budgets.
  • Establish positive relationships with owners, engineers, subcontractors, vendors and other stakeholders.

Job description

  • Coordinate project activities, schedules, budgets, quality control, and safety procedures to ensure successful project execution.
  • Organize, maintain, and monitor project documentation, including contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, plans, specifications, RFIs, submittals, change orders, communications, meeting minutes, as-builts, and O&M manuals.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative and technical support to the project team, including superintendents, project personnel, owners, and engineering consultants.
  • Monitor construction activities through field observations, interpretation of construction drawings, measurement of work in place, quality assurance, and verification of project requirements.
  • Develop RFIs, assist with problem solving, and coordinate the resolution of field and project issues while maintaining project schedules and budgets.
  • Establish and maintain positive, professional working relationships with owners, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and other project stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in heavy civil, water, or wastewater construction, with strong knowledge of construction processes and practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, project documentation, quantity measurement, estimating, and change management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate with project teams, owners, engineers, and field personnel.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, task-focused, and dependable, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make practical decisions in a job-site environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel, with familiarity with Primavera or MS Project scheduling and construction estimating, quantity take-offs, and pricing.
