Job summary

W3Global Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee heavy civil, water, and wastewater projects in Tennessee from planning through completion.

You will manage schedules, subcontractors, documentation, field coordination, budgeting support, and overall project execution in both office and field environments. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in heavy civil construction and 5+ years in project management, with a Bachelor’s in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in heavy civil construction, water, or wastewater projects.
  • 5+ years of construction project management or project engineering experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Strong understanding of heavy civil construction processes and field operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage heavy civil, water, and wastewater construction projects from preconstruction through completion.
  • Coordinate project schedules, subcontractors, vendors, and material deliveries.
  • Organize and maintain project documentation including RFIs, submittals, drawings, specifications, and as built documentation.
  • Monitor construction progress, budgets, schedules, and quality standards.
  • Assist with quantity tracking, cost control, and project reporting.
  • Interpret construction drawings and specifications to support field operations.
  • Support field teams with scheduling, coordination, safety procedures, and problem resolution.
  • Conduct field observations and ensure compliance with project requirements and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with superintendents, engineers, and project stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
  • Utilize scheduling and project management software to track progress and maintain timelines.
  • Assist with estimating, quantity take offs, and pricing support as needed.
  • Maintain strong communication with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients throughout the project lifecycle.

Construction Project Manager

Job Summary

Our Client is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee heavy civil, water, and wastewater construction projects from planning through completion. This role will be responsible for managing project schedules, subcontractors, documentation, field coordination, budgeting support, and overall project execution. The ideal candidate will have experience working on heavy civil infrastructure projects and possess strong organizational, communication, and problem solving skills in both office and field environments.

This position plays a critical role in ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget. Candidates should be comfortable collaborating with superintendents, engineers, subcontractors, and senior leadership while maintaining high standards for quality control and project documentation. The role offers long term growth opportunities within a stable and growing construction organization focused on large scale civil and utility infrastructure projects.

  • Experience with RFIs, submittals, project documentation, and as built drawings
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and project management software
  • Experience with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, or estimating software is preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in both office and field environments
  • Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
