BASIC FUNCTION OF THE JOB
The Project Management Strategic consultant, hereafter PMSC, primarily is responsible for leading customer SaaS project portfolio management (PPM) implementation projects utilizing a combination of business process analytical skills, a deep knowledge of project management best practices, and PPM technical aptitude to convert existing customer processes and requirements into technical solution designs.
This role requires a good balance between Project Management knowledge and experience, and technical capabilities, as the job duties require client management, Project Management consulting, and technical oversight of project management information systems.

Essential Functions of the Job:
· Maintain key relationships both internally and within the enterprise client environments
· Plan and execute PPM implementation projects for mid-market and large enterprise clients
· Maintain client expectations such as SLA adherence and high levels of customer satisfaction.
· Ensure contract/project goals are met and drive customer satisfaction and success
· Professionally address and resolve technical and business issues escalated by team members
· Provide functional consulting services by acting as a subject-matter-expert to lead clients through a PPM deployment (implementation, staged releases)
· In conjunction with clients, ascertain and document business requirements for translation into technical solution designs for implementation in the client’s PPM environment
· Identify functional gaps and develop creative solutions for clients
· Advise clients on options, risks, and any impacts to other processes or systems as needed, with input from technical SMEs as required
· Solid ability to facilitate communications between a variety of highly technical stakeholders
· Develop administrator and end-user training materials
· Deliver administrator and train-the-trainer training
· Gather client requirements via standard tools, interviews, and documentation analysis
· Analyze data against client business priorities, standardized benchmarking, market / industry best practices, and PPM capabilities
· Provide guidance in rationalizing or standardizing processes
· Document requirements and gain consensus with client stakeholders and team members
· Create plan / roadmap to convert client’s processes into mature PMO operations or PPM technical solutions
· Apply strong analytical thinking and creative problem solving to client challenges
Technical duties:
· Commit to expertly learning the supported SaaS PPM both in customer-facing functionality and technical, back-end capabilities
· Transform functional and technical requirements into detailed designs, including process flows and wireframes
· Develop technical documentation to support long-term administration of implemented PPM solution
· Partner with project team to define testing scenarios and develop test scripts to support User Acceptance and Systems Integration Testing (UAT and SIT respectively)

Attain measurable and visible increase in the following areas:
· Meet billable utilization targets each month, with a minimum of 70%, goal of 75%, stretch goal of 80%+

· Maintain project profitability by adhering to scope, timeline, and budget
Client Satisfaction:
· Closing projects with the Kolme/Client relationship in good standing
· Demonstrates professional approach to client concerns
· Renewal or re engagement of client projects
Personal Goals:
· Completion and/or satisfaction of personal goal as established by management
· Invest, at minimum, 5 hours of Professional Development per quarter
· Minimum 10 years of Project Management experience in increasingly complex roles required
· The ideal candidate will have managed PMOs, Portfolios, or very large and complex programs
· Consulting or Shared-Services experience essential
· Must have exceptional interpersonal skills, professional presence, and demonstrated experience working with clients
· Keen attention to detail and root cause analysis skills required. Must have ability to read, analyze, and interpret scopes of work
· Must be able to individually drive to a goal/outcome
· Must have strong decision making and time management skills
· Project financial knowledge/experience required and general business financial knowledge a plus
· Ability to write reports and/or business correspondence needed
· Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from a wide range of stakeholders (c-level, teammates)
· Should demonstrate high level of competence with standard business software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
· The PMSC should have experience working with enterprise PPM systems such as MS Project Online, AdaptiveWork, LiquidPlanner
· Bachelor’s degree in business management, project management, a related field, preferred or equivalent experience
· Certified Associate Project Manager (CAPM), Project Management Professional (PMP), or Prince2 Practitioner certification required
· Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certifications preferred.
· Minimum of 5 years of professional experience
· Minimum of 4 years of experience implementing a variety of PPM solutions
· Experience implementing governance practices that align with waterfall methodologies
