Job summary

Clearsense, a Healthcare IT Data & Analytics company, seeks a Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and manage healthcare technology projects from initiation through closure in a 100% remote role.

Reporting to the Director of PMO, you will lead cross-functional teams, work with customers, engineering, data, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver projects on time, within scope and budget, while maintaining quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT, CS, business, or healthcare disciplines.
• 5+ years of project management experience in healthcare IT or enterprise IT.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.

About The Role

*100% Remote*

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing Clearsense healthcare technology projects from initiation through project closure and transition to support.

Reporting to the Director of PMO, the Project Manager leads cross-functional project teams and works closely with customers, Product Engineering Delivery, Engineering, Data Engineering, Client Success, Product, vendors, and other stakeholders to accomplish project objectives and meet client expectations.

This position is accountable for establishing and maintaining project plans, schedules, budgets, governance, risks, dependencies, and communications. The Project Manager ensures assigned projects are delivered within approved scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations while maintaining alignment with Clearsense delivery standards and customer commitments.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead healthcare technology projects from initiation through implementation, transition, and closure.
• Develop and maintain project charters, plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, resource plans, and delivery documentation.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, roles, responsibilities, assumptions, and success criteria.
• Coordinate internal teams, customers, vendors, and third-party partners throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, resources, risks, issues, assumptions, decisions, dependencies, and change requests.
• Maintain accurate and current RAID logs, action item logs, project plans, status reports, and governance materials.
• Monitor project progress and proactively identify risks, issues, dependencies, constraints, and potential schedule impacts.
• Develop mitigation and recovery plans to keep projects on track.
• Escalate unresolved issues, material risks, resource constraints, and scope concerns to the Program Manager or Director of PMO.
• Lead project kickoff meetings, status meetings, planning sessions, risk reviews, governance meetings, and customer presentations.
• Prepare meeting agendas, facilitate discussions, document decisions, and ensure action items are assigned and completed.
• Serve as the primary project contact for customer and internal stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Communicate project status, milestones, risks, decisions, and changes clearly and consistently.
• Coordinate technical discovery, implementation planning, testing, validation, go-live, and transition activities.
• Facilitate technical discussions involving healthcare applications, integrations, interfaces, infrastructure, databases, APIs, networking, cloud technologies, and data migration.
• Partner with technical subject matter experts to assess feasibility, address delivery concerns, and support project decisions.
• Ensure project readiness activities, quality reviews, approvals, and delivery gates are completed before execution and go-live.
• Monitor project budgets, forecasts, resource utilization, and financial performance.
• Manage scope changes in accordance with established change-control processes.
• Ensure required project documentation, customer approvals, training materials, operational handoffs, and closure artifacts are completed.
• Support the identification and implementation of lessons learned and process improvements.
• Maintain project information in designated systems of record, including Smartsheet, Jira, SharePoint, Confluence, or other approved platforms.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects based on project complexity, customer needs, and organizational priorities.
• Follow PMO standards, governance requirements, methodologies, templates, and reporting expectations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Five or more years of project management experience, preferably within healthcare technology, enterprise IT, professional services, or managed services.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and cross-functional teams simultaneously.
• Experience developing and managing project plans, schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies, and status reporting.
• Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management experience.
• Understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Experience with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, Asana, or similar platforms.
• Experience with healthcare data archival, application decommissioning, interoperability, data migration, data lifecycle management, or enterprise healthcare technology preferred.
• Working knowledge of healthcare applications, integrations, databases, infrastructure, cloud technologies, or information security principles preferred.
• Excellent organizational, communication, facilitation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or comparable project management certification preferred.
