Job description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of technology implementation projects. This individual will be responsible for managing all phases of assigned projects, ensuring technology components are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with defined scope and quality expectations.

This role will oversee cross-functional internal teams as well as external vendors and consultants, driving collaboration and accountability throughout the project lifecycle. The Project Manager will determine the appropriate level of project management methodology, documentation, and process rigor based on the complexity and scope of each initiative.

In many cases, the projects supported by this role will involve technology components connected to planning, design, and construction initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring strong project leadership experience, a solid understanding of IT systems and processes, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead technology implementation projects from initiation through completion
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, risks, and deliverables
  • Coordinate internal teams, stakeholders, vendors, and consultants to ensure successful execution
  • Apply appropriate project management methodologies based on project scope and complexity
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders
  • Oversee quality control throughout the lifecycle of each project
  • Support projects involving planning, design, construction, and technology integration
  • Ensure alignment between technical requirements, project goals, and business objectives
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in project management, healthcare, or a related field
  • 8+ years of project management experience
  • Working knowledge of PMI principles, project management methodologies, and tools such as MS Project
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, Visio, Adobe, and project management software
  • General understanding of IT systems and IT processes
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong attention to detail
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience implementing hardware and supporting building power, data, and network requirements for healthcare applications and technologies
  • Experience managing medical imaging projects
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawing sets and specifications
