FedWriters, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to lead a remote team delivering language access services for HHS OMH. You will oversee multimedia projects, data analysis, and ensure compliance with federal guidelines to improve accessibility for LEP communities.

This full-time remote role requires coordinating with a federal client, meeting deadlines, and maintaining security clearance eligibility. The organization offers growth opportunities and a strong benefits package.

Competenze

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, business administration, or a similar field of study.
  • At least four years of experience managing projects or programs of a similar size and scope, preferably as a federal employee or government contractor.
  • Ability to manage team members remotely.
  • Must be eligible for an HHS Public Trust security clearance.

Mansioni

  • Oversee a team of six employees providing Language Access Services to HHS OMH.
  • Manage social media, web content, email campaign, online video, and other multimedia projects.
  • Manage data collection and analysis projects.
  • Schedule and run meetings with the federal client and the FWI team.
  • Monitor the team’s progress toward completing deliverables and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Submit deliverables by the deadlines established in the contract performance work statement (PWS).
  • Ensure the team makes any revisions requested by HHS OMH appropriately and submit the revised deliverable by the established deadline.
  • Ensure that submitted deliverables comply with all requirements contained in the PWS, including federal plain language guidelines, Section 508 accessibility, specified reading level, etc.
  • Oversee the team’s effort to promote awareness of and access to HHS programs and administration health priorities among LEP communities.
  • Oversee the team’s effort to tailor communications to LEP audiences through plain language and culturally accessible framing in English and to develop communications for deployment across digital, television, and radio advertising channels.
  • Oversee the team’s effort to review existing HHS materials and revise them into plain-language English to improve accessibility for LEP audiences and individuals with low general or health literacy, including making materials Section 508 compliant.
  • Communicate in a professional manner with the HHS OMH to identify its expectations for work products, responding promptly to all requests, inquiries, directions, and instructions.
  • Ensure data about the audiences the communications products reach are gathered and analyzed in support of annual and/or final reports.
  • Collect and analyze performance metrics, technical information, and project data and identify ways for improvement.

Overview

As a Project Manager, you will help the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of Minority Health (OMH) to meet its mission of providing national leadership, resources, and coordination to improve the health of racial and ethnic minority populations and American Indians and Alaska Natives and to eliminate health disparities. You will manage and lead a team that will produce materials that are more accessible to limited English proficiency (LEP) communities, helping HHS OMH to promote programs, initiatives and administration health priorities, empowering LEP communities to access HHS OMH materials independently, and making them more informed about important health and wellness issues. Join FWI in helping HHS OHM to communicate with LEP communities more effectively, thereby improving the health and wellness of millions of LEP Americans.

Work Schedule and Location:

Remote: This full-time remote position will work Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm Eastern Time.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, business administration, or a similar field of study.
  • At least four years of experience managing projects or programs of a similar size and scope, preferably as a federal employee or government contractor.
  • Ability to manage team members remotely.
  • Must be eligible for an HHS Public Trust security clearance.

Desired:

  • Master’s degree in business management, business administration, or a similar field of study.
  • At least four years of experience managing social media, web content, email campaign, online video, and other multimedia projects.
  • At least four years of experience managing data collection and analysis projects.
  • Program Management Professional certification
  • Federal government, government contracting, or public health experience preferred but not required.

Pay Range

$47.21 - $55.52/hour, depending on experience, education and clearance level.
