Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Remote
Duration: 6+ Months

Rate range: $80-85/ hr on W2

Day to Day Responsibilities

1. Responsible for technical delivery of the solution working with multiple Agile teams that are developing various parts. This role is the glue between all those teams.
2. Coordinate with the infrastructure teams to ensure that the environments are available and working.
3. Facilitate pre-scheduled and ad-hoc meetings to review progress, identify roadblocks and develop solutions.
4. Assist the Program Manager to refine the project plan and ensure that the team meets the milestones.
5. Consult with key technical resources to prepare status reports. Translate technical details to simpler language for a senior leadership audience.
6. Collaborate with non-technical parts of the program (e.g., Training, Business Readiness, UAT, etc.) to resolve inter-dependencies and be in sync.

Required Skills (top 3 non-negotiables):

1. Technical IT Delivery in an Agile and cloud environment.
2. Manage matrixed, cross-functional teams to meet strict deadlines.
3. Calm under pressure. Self-driven individual who can operate with limited supervision.

Preferred Skills

(nice to have): Health Plan (insurance) industry

Education Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s Degree required; master’s degree preferred.
2. Scrum Master certification (CSM) preferred.
3. Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) required.
4. SAFe Practice Consultant (SPC) certification preferred.

Required Testing:

Software Skills Required:

Must have both business and technology project/program management experience.

Required Certifications:

1. Scrum Master certification (CSM) preferred.
2. Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) required.
3. SAFe Practice Consultant (SPC) certification preferred.
