Job description

Job Summary

Aptive is seeking a dynamic, highly motivated, strategic thinker to join our team as a Project Manager on our EHRM Rapid Decision Making Contract. In this role, you will be responsible for quickly understanding the current state of issue and risk management processes, operationalizing future-state solutions, and actively participating in the development of operational artifacts related to the deployment of the Tiered Hubs and issue management process at VA Facilities and VISNs to support the implementation of the new Electronic Health Record. This position will require the Project Manager to both oversee Team Members and their work, but to also drive work and develop high-quality deliverables over multiple workstreams/efforts.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Quickly familiarize yourself with the work completed to-date related to the EHRM Tiered Hub Process and the overall EHRM Issue Management Process.
  • Support the implementation of different tiered hubs to support the future-state issue management processes.
  • Provide strategic direction and oversight on all projects and clients.
  • Develop project plans, set milestones, and track progress to ensure the timely and successful rollout of the EHRM issue management process.
  • Proactively manage risks and issues related to the project.
  • Create agendas and executive level presentations for meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare comprehensive meeting summaries, capturing action items, decisions, and next steps.
  • Coordinate with relevant teams to develop key operational documentation, including but not limited to Memorandums of Agreement (MOAs), Concept of Operations, Strategic Plans, Business Rules, and Standard Operating Procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or relevant certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a project manager
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with SAFe Agile frameworks and sprint management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and JIRA.
  • Ability to work and thrive in ambiguous work environments.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Previous work experience with the VA or VHA is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Issue Management and familiarity with Electronic Health Records Management (EHRM) is a plus.
