Job summary

Renewyx, a leader in commercial mechanical construction, seeks a Senior Project Manager to oversee HVAC, plumbing, and process piping projects. You will manage multiple high-value projects, ensuring strategic alignment, profitability, and operational excellence, while mentoring PMs and engineers.

You will drive preconstruction, budgets, schedules, and procurement, serving as the executive contact for clients and GCs. Travel to project sites and regional offices is expected.

Qualifications

• 8 to 10+ years of experience managing mechanical construction projects in commercial/industrial settings.
• Proven track record leading multi-million-dollar projects to successful completion.
• Expert knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, piping systems, and construction sequencing.
• Willingness to travel to project sites and regional offices as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of multiple high-value or technically complex mechanical projects
• Drive preconstruction efforts including estimating support, scope definition, and constructability reviews
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, procurement strategies, and manpower planning
• Serve as the executive point of contact for clients, general contractors, engineers, and key stakeholders
• Guide and oversee project management teams, including PMs, APMs, and Project Engineers
• Review and approve contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and billing
• Monitor project performance metrics including productivity, cost, risk, and cash flow
• Partner with field leadership and safety managers to ensure safe, high-quality installations
• Resolve complex challenges in design coordination, logistics, and resource management
• Support strategic initiatives such as Lean construction, prefab opportunities, and process improvements
• Help hire, develop, and retain top project management talent

Commercial mechanical construction across HVAC, plumbing, and process piping, multi-million-dollar projects for commercial and industrial clients.

You'll lead multiple high-value or technically complex mechanical projects at once, owning strategic alignment, profitability, and operational execution. You'll act as the executive point of contact for clients and GCs, mentor a team of PMs, APMs, and Project Engineers, and help drive process improvements like Lean construction and prefab across the department.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Experience with Lean construction practices or prefabrication
• Willingness to travel to project sites and regional offices as needed
• A track record of mentoring junior project management staff
