An established and rapidly growing mechanical construction organization is seeking a Project Manager to oversee HVAC and mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You'll collaborate with field operations, subcontractors, suppliers, and customers while serving as a key leader throughout the project lifecycle.
What You'll Do
- Champion safety and promote a strong culture of jobsite compliance and risk management
- Manage projects through all phases of construction, from planning and procurement to execution and turnover
- Oversee project scope, schedules, budgets, and staffing requirements
- Coordinate material procurement, vendor relationships, and equipment deliveries
- Review and manage project documentation, contracts, drawings, and specifications
- Support estimating and preconstruction efforts by providing project input and cost analysis
- Monitor project financial performance, forecasting, and cost controls
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, field teams, subcontractors, and business partners
- Collaborate with leadership and business development teams to support project pursuits and client growth opportunities
- Drive project success through proactive communication, problem-solving, and leadership
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred, or equivalent industry experience
- 3+ years of project management experience within mechanical construction, HVAC, piping, plumbing, or related trades
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, construction methods, and project delivery processes
- Ability to read, interpret, and manage construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, procurement, and change management
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and construction management or estimating software
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- PMP certification, OSHA 30, or LEED accreditation preferred but not required
