Job summary

CrimsonXT is seeking a Project Manager to own delivery of data center construction projects. The role is remote in the US with up to 30% travel to active site(s) and leadership of design-build teams across disciplines.

You will manage end-to-end delivery, translate design into actionable direction, and drive safety, quality, and client relationships on every project. A background in data centers and a degree in Engineering or Construction Management are preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Project Management or Senior Project Engineering.
• General contractor background is essential.
• Proven data center or mission critical delivery experience.
• Demonstrated tenure with previous employers.
• Degree in Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Own projects end to end, from estimate through closeout documentation.
• Translate design documents into clear direction for designers, subcontractors and vendors.
• Build and manage complex schedules, and forecast and mitigate project risk.
• Solicit and level bids, and prepare accurate take-offs and proposals.

• Own the client relationship and drive safety and quality on every project.

Job title: Project Manager, Data Center Construction (Remote, US)

CrimsonXT is working with a mission critical design-build partner looking for a Project Manager to take full ownership of delivery on their live and upcoming data center projects.

They pursue the technically demanding builds other contractors avoid, and they’re building a team of driven, high-calibre people to deliver them.

What you’ll do:

• Own projects end to end, from estimate through closeout documentation
• Translate design documents into clear direction for designers, subcontractors and vendors
• Build and manage complex schedules, and forecast and mitigate project risk
• Solicit and level bids, and prepare accurate take-offs and proposals
• Manage budgets, billings, change orders and cash flow
• Oversee MOP and SOP development and lead site supervision
• Own the client relationship and drive safety and quality on every project

What we’re looking for:

• 10+ years in Project Management or Senior Project Engineering
• General contractor background is essential (owner’s rep backgrounds will not be considered)
• Proven data center or mission critical delivery, ideally ground-up; Telecom and DC Power experience is a plus
• A track record of tenure and stability with previous employers
• Degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent experience
• Right to work in the US. Visa sponsorship is not available

Location

Fully remote with up to 30% travel to active site(s).

Package:

• Base salary up to $200K depending on experience
• Car allowance, plus per diem when travelling
