Job description

Are you a Project Manager with experience in process improvement, supply chain operations, and Value Stream Mapping? Aquent is partnering with a global leader in the beauty industry to find a Project Manager who will help transform how customer orders and supply chain processes are managed across the organization.

About Our Client

Our client is a global leader in beauty, recognized for its commitment to innovation, quality, and creating exceptional customer experiences. With a diverse portfolio of products and brands, the organization continues to invest in technology, operational excellence, and more efficient ways of serving customers around the world.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Project Manager to support a major Omnichannel Customer Supply Chain (OCS) transformation initiative, with a primary focus on Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and Order-to-Cash process improvement.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to evaluate existing workflows, uncover operational bottlenecks, and design practical future-state processes. From facilitating workshops and validating operational data to developing improvement roadmaps, your work will help create more efficient, scalable, and customer-focused supply chain operations.

The ideal candidate brings experience in project management, business process improvement, and retail or eCommerce environments, along with an understanding of process automation and emerging technologies.

What You Will Do
  • Lead Value Stream Mapping (VSM) activities, including planning, facilitating workshops, documenting current-state processes, and developing future-state recommendations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Omnichannel Customer Supply Chain and Order-to-Cash teams to identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
  • Map end-to-end workflows, including order processing, information flows, system interactions, decision points, handoffs, and process ownership.
  • Collect and validate operational data to establish performance baselines using metrics such as cycle time, order-processing time, on-time in-full (OTIF) delivery, inventory accuracy, and exception rates.
  • Identify bottlenecks, delays, rework, duplication, and non-value-added activities using Lean and continuous improvement principles.
  • Facilitate discussions with process owners and subject-matter experts to validate findings, investigate root causes, and build alignment on proposed improvements.
  • Develop future-state process maps and recommendations addressing workflows, responsibilities, controls, technology requirements, and operational capabilities.
  • Translate findings into prioritized improvement roadmaps with clear milestones, accountable owners, dependencies, and measurable success criteria.
  • Manage project schedules, risks, issues, decisions, and stakeholder communications to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
  • Support change management activities, including stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and adoption of redesigned processes.
  • Collaborate with technical and business teams to identify opportunities for software solutions, AI-enabled automation, and improved data validation.
  • Monitor implementation progress and evaluate improvements against operational performance, budget, and ROI objectives.
Required Qualifications

1-3 years of project management experience within retail, eCommerce, or a related business environment.

Experience with Value Stream Mapping, business process mapping, or continuous improvement methodologies.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including process evaluation, data validation, and root-cause analysis.

Ability to manage project timelines, budgets, and ROI objectives while coordinating multiple stakeholders.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical and operational findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Ability to facilitate cross-functional collaboration, build consensus, and support teams across a global organization.

Preferred Qualifications
