• Hands-on familiarity with AI and automation tools; technical engineering background not required.

One of our clients is looking for an experienced Program Manager to lead technology and process initiatives across their supply chain platforms. This is a high-visibility role for someone who can own complex programs from start to finish, connect business needs with engineering delivery, and find smart ways to modernize and automate how work gets done.

About the Role

You'll oversee strategic programs spanning ERP, WMS, OMS, and TMS environments, with a focus on stronger system integration, faster order-to-fulfillment cycles, and better operational visibility. You'll also be a key point of contact for external customers, turning their needs into clear requirements and actionable roadmaps for the engineering team. The right person brings solid program management discipline, deep functional knowledge of supply chain systems, and a practical, results-focused view of where AI and process improvement can add real value.

What You'll Do

• Build program charters, roadmaps, schedules, and resource plans, and keep stakeholders updated on progress and milestones
• Document current-state and future-state processes so leadership can make informed decisions
• Manage scope, risk, and change control across several workstreams at once, and push decisions to closure so projects keep moving
• Learn existing processes in depth and recommend practical ways to optimize them
• Provide technical oversight across integrated systems, keeping data and process handoffs clean through the full order lifecycle, from order capture and allocation to warehouse execution and shipment
• Review end-to-end order and warehouse workflows, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, and returns, to identify efficiency and automation gains
• Research solutions, scope requirements, and contribute to multi-application system design

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

• Work directly with external customers to understand their requirements, onboard them onto existing capabilities, and plan roadmaps for new features
• Partner with software vendors and system integrators to evaluate enhancements, track performance, and deliver on schedule
• Turn business requirements into functional specifications for development and infrastructure teams
• Own backlog management, sprint and release prioritization, UAT, implementation, and post-go-live support for the engineering team

AI & Process Improvement

• Evaluate where AI can create meaningful impact in supply chain operations, and tell the difference between high-value opportunities and hype
• Use Lean, Six Sigma, and value stream mapping to fix workflows first, before adding new technology on top

Change Management & Enablement

• Create training content and lead adoption efforts for new systems and processes
• Build out SOPs, system documentation, and knowledge transfer so that critical know-how is written down rather than held by a few people

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (Master's is a plus)
• 7+ years in supply chain, logistics, or operations technology, including 3+ years in program or project management
• Strong functional expertise in at least two of the following: ERP, WMS, OMS, TMS
• Hands-on familiarity with AI and automation tools, with the ability to assess feasibility and ROI (a technical engineering background is not required)
• Real-world experience applying Lean, Six Sigma, or business process re-engineering
• A proven record of delivering complex, multi-stakeholder programs through go-live and stabilization
• Strong analytical skills and comfort using data to guide operational decisions
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills

Nice to Have

• PMP, PgMP, or Lean/Six Sigma certification
• Hands-on experience across all four platforms (ERP, WMS, OMS, TMS)
• Experience leading system modernization or migration from legacy on-premises systems to cloud platforms without disrupting operations
• Familiarity with EDI, API integrations, and supply chain analytics or BI tools

This is primarily an office-based hybrid role, with occasional travel to warehouse or other operational sites.
