Job summary

A leading recruitment firm is seeking an experienced Water Resources Project Manager to oversee water resources projects across Florida. This role requires managing hydrology and hydraulic projects, coordinating with clients and multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. Job description

We are seeking an experienced Water Resources Project Manager to lead and deliver water resources projects across Florida, with a primary focus on hydrology and hydraulics (H&H). This role involves managing technical analyses, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and supporting clients on storm water, floodplain, and water resources projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage H&H and water resources projects from planning through delivery
  • Perform and oversee hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and analysis
  • Coordinate with clients, agencies, and internal technical teams
  • Prepare and review technical reports, design documents, and permitting materials
  • Support project scheduling, budgets, and quality control
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 5+ years of water resources experience in Florida
  • Strong background in H&H and related disciplines (stormwater, floodplain, drainage)
  • Familiarity with Florida regulations and permitting agencies
  • PE license in Florida (or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe)
