Job summary

Kids for the Future in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Project Manager to coordinate client projects across our enterprise solution offerings, including events, digital marketing, and creative projects.

You will define project scopes, manage budgets, timelines, and resources, and work with internal teams and external partners to deliver on time and on budget.

A bachelor’s degree and at least three years of project management experience are required; travel about 25–30% is expected.

  • Travel 25–30% depending on projects.

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects across a variety of clients that utilize our enterprise solution offerings including the build of assets, logistics of the program, and on-site load-in/load-out and activations.
  • Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders in developing strategic intent, program/project scope, and corresponding budget.
  • Responsible for managing all internal and external resources, tracking project progress, and meeting all key deliverables and milestones as defined in the project scope.
  • Drive project teams to deliver on time and on budget while maintaining creative alignment with strategic intent.
  • Maintain financial oversight through the project lifecycle, including budget estimates and invoicing.
  • Develop and maintain project records: timelines, costs, PO management, creative elements, communications, and change orders.
  • Collaborate across Switch departments to ensure efficient communication and processes.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Description

The Project Manager is responsible for managing projects across a variety of clients that may utilize our enterprise solution offerings (business meetings, events, tradeshows booths, field marketing, video, digital marketing, and creative projects). Collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders to develop project scopes, and provide project oversight over the entire project lifecycle, including overall financial performance of the project.

  • Manage projects across a variety of clients that utilize our enterprise solution offerings including the build of assets, logistics of the program, and on-site load-in/load-out and activations.
  • Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders in developing strategic intent, program/project scope, and corresponding budget.
  • Responsible for managing all internal and external resources, tracking project progress, and meeting all key deliverables and milestones as defined in the project scope.
  • Once the project is sold, “drive” the project team members to deliver the project on time, on budget, and ensure that the creative approach stays focused and consistent with the project’s strategic intent.
  • Maintains financial oversight through the entire project management lifecycle, including budget estimates to the preparation of invoicing and managing the overall financial performance that meets or exceeds budget expectations.
  • Key project architect responsible for developing and maintaining projects records that include production timelines, project cost, P.O. management, creative elements, customer communications and documented change orders.
  • Works collaboratively across all Switch departments to ensure efficient communication and processes are implemented and followed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business management, project management or related field.
  • 3 years of Project Management experience.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills; and the ability to multi-task.
  • Demonstrated strategic abilities, thorough understanding of display design, production and technology, solid leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability and experience in budgeting and managing a project from beginning to end.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft O365 environment (Word, Excel, Outlook. PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).
  • The ability to travel 25-30% pending the projects assigned.
  • The ability to work flexible hours depending on the project/events assigned.
Preferred Minimum Qualifications:
  • Experience in building assets and handling events logistics for tradeshow booths, field marketing programs, and experiential marketing events preferred.
  • Experience in multiple client industries (i.e. beverage, snacks, healthcare, tools, etc.)
Physical Demands (refer to Addendum):
  • Ability to work in a physical environment and lift 20 pounds.
