Job summary

Insight Global seeks an experienced Project Manager to drive IT software initiatives for a major utility client. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams, maintain artifact libraries, and ensure programs pass phase gates while staying on schedule and within scope.

You will author and refine documentation, manage risks, and support program managers and stakeholders through requirements and approvals, helping multiple transformational projects stay healthy and aligned for seamless delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager.
• Experience supporting enterprise Project Delivery or Transformation Delivery Projects in IT software environments.
• Exposure to project lifecycle and phase gating processes.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive multiple tasks to completion.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow, MS Project, Jira, SharePoint, and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Support multiple projects simultaneously and help author and refine documentation.
• Collaborate with program managers and stakeholders to capture requirements and approval workflows.
• Identify risks and blockers early and propose mitigation actions.
• Ensure projects remain healthy, aligned, and on track through phase gates.
• Help ensure seamless delivery across the largest transformation programs.

Job Description

We are looking for a Project Manager who has experience in IT Software environments for one of our top Utility clients. This role plays a critical part in keeping complex software initiatives moving forward by ensuring the transformation programs are organized, well‑documented, and ready to progress through key phase gates. The Project Manager will work closely with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced delivery environment to inventory existing project documentation, identify gaps, and gather the artifacts required for approvals and next phases.

Day to day, they will support multiple projects simultaneously, assist with authoring and refining documentation, and collaborate with program managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and approval workflows. By asking the right questions, proactively surfacing risks or blockers, and anticipating what teams need to stay on track, this role helps ensure projects remain healthy, aligned, and out of the red. Skills and Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager




• Experience supporting enterprise Project Delivery, Transformation Delivery Projects, IT Software Projects or background in Software Delivery




• Exposure to project lifecycle and phase gating processes




• Confidence to navigate in the gray, be adaptable to change, and action oriented around a variety of tasks




• Familiarity with tools like ServiceNow, MS Project, Jira, SharePoint




• Strong organizational and communication skills; not afraid to ask questions - Confluence experience




• Experience working within a PMO or any exposure to a PMO
