Job summary

Role Description

The Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Raleigh NC/Triangle & Triad area responsible for overseeing residential construction projects from planning through completion. This role coordinates schedules, subcontractors, and materials as well as ensuring work is completed on time and within budget, all while staying in alignment with company quality standards. The Project Manager conducts regular site inspections, monitors progress, resolves issues, and communicates with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors as well as clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing logistics and expediting materials, enforcing safety and compliance requirements, maintaining documentation, and providing clear updates to leadership and clients on project status.

Qualifications

• Project management skills & experience with the ability to oversee multiple residential construction projects at one time.
• Expediting and Expeditor experience to coordinate schedules, fast-track materials, and support timely completion of work.
• Inspection skills to perform thorough site inspections, verify quality, and ensure adherence to building codes and standards.
• Logistics Management skills to manage deliveries, inventory, and vendor relationships for construction materials and services.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in residential construction or homebuilding, with strong knowledge of construction processes and trades.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and follow-through.
• Proficiency with project management software and basic office tools (e.g., spreadsheets, email, scheduling applications).
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and the ability to work on-site at active construction locations.
• Relevant education or certifications in construction management, project management, or a related field are beneficial.
