  • Set up walkthroughs, create bid list, develop supplemental aids.
  • Review bids and create customer estimate.
  • Present to GM for pre-review and to client.
  • Follow permit process and review construction drawings with client & architect.
  • Develop schedule and communicate with client and subcontractors.
  • Manage communication with subcontractors, client, suppliers during construction.
  • Address changes with field, client, subcontractors as needed.
  • Own project to close the loop and follow through on all items.

Norwest Contractors is a specialty general contractor built on a wide range of health care projects that encompasses ambulatory surgery centers to medical, dental, and veterinary tenant improvements, as well as new construction. Our focus and success in the ever-growing healthcare segment enables Norwest to successfully compete with larger general contractors.

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our Team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of estimating and managing tenant improvement projects with a focus in healthcare tenant improvement and occupied remodel projects is a plus. As a Project Manager this position reports directly to senior management and possessing strong leadership and communication skills is a must. The position of Project Manager will play a critical role in Norwest’s continued growth, with the responsibility for developing project plans, scopes of work, schedules, while developing close working relationships with clients, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.

To perform this job successfully we are searching for someone who can successfully estimate and manage multiple projects concurrently, act independently to develop plans, scope, timing, and phasing. Communicate effectively with staff and other professionals. At times, Project Managers will be asked to cooperate with the sales team to develop or close sales opportunities and attend outreach programs/efforts.
