Job summary

MPI is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex healthcare construction projects across a growing regional portfolio. You will report to senior operations leadership and oversee ground-up and renovation healthcare work from preconstruction through closeout.

Responsibilities include managing safety, quality, schedule, and budget; forecasting and change orders; coordinating with healthcare clients, consultants, and subcontractors; and mentoring project engineers.

Qualifications

• Extensive PM experience with a commercial GC.
• Healthcare project delivery knowledge and regulatory understanding.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relations.

Description

The Project Manager will report to senior operations leadership and be responsible for the successful execution of ground-up and renovation healthcare projects from preconstruction through closeout.

• Lead all phases of commercial construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget objectives are achieved
• Manage project financials, including forecasting, cost controls, change orders, and monthly reporting
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare clients, consultants, subcontractors, and key stakeholders
• Coordinate preconstruction activities, project planning, procurement, and risk management efforts
• Oversee project schedules and drive successful project execution through proactive leadership
• Facilitate project meetings and ensure effective communication among all project team members
• Mentor project engineers and support the continued development of construction staff

Profile

For the Project Manager we are seeking:

• Extensive construction project management experience with a commercial general contractor
• Proven track record delivering commercia; projects from start to finish
• Strong understanding of healthcare facility requirements, regulations, and operational considerations
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships
• Knowledge of construction management software including Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional client service
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred
