Job summary

Felix Construction in Phoenix is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead water and wastewater projects ranging from small to mid-size across the Phoenix metro area. You will coordinate with clients, GCs, superintendents, and field teams to keep schedules and budgets aligned.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in water/wastewater, strong Excel and Bluebeam or Acrobat skills, basic AutoCAD, and the ability to read plans and specs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of water/wastewater construction experience
• Proficient in Excel; able to run advanced spreadsheets and schedules
• Experience reading plans and specifications for multiple disciplines

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams on water and wastewater projects across the Phoenix metro area
• Coordinate material, schedules, budgets, and subcontractor activities
• Prepare and review project schedules using MS Project
• Produce project billings, budgets, and purchase orders
• Maintain safety, quality control, and client communications
• Represent Felix Construction professionally on site and in meetings

We Build What Matters.

Felix Construction Company is seeking an experienced Project Manager that will lead project teams on small to medium water and wastewater treatment projects throughout the Phoenix metro area ($250k – $20M). The Individual must be self-motivated and possess strong communication/interpersonal skills.

What You'll Be Doing

• Closely work with clients, GCs, superintendents, safety manager, field personnel, estimators, project managers, and all others involved in projects
• Works with superintendent and quality control to coordinate and effectively manage material schedules, work schedules, job material and equipment purchases
• Complete AutoCAD installation drawing packages for our field team
• Produces project billings, budgets, and purchase orders
• Process change order requests, and related project administrative documents
• Complete effective and accurate submittals
• Prepare and review operations and maintenance manuals
• Develop logical and sequential project schedules using Microsoft Project
• Maintain project schedules and budgets
• Represent the company in a professional manner
• Work from the Felix Construction Phoenix Headquarters and make frequent job site visits around the Valley

Who You Are

• Construction management, civil engineering or mechanical engineering degree required
• 5+ years of water/wastewater construction industry experience highly desired
• Advanced Excel and Adobe Acrobat or Bluebeam skills required
• Basic AutoCAD experience preferred
• Able to read plans and specifications for all the disciplines on a typical water/wastewater project
• Alternative Procurement Delivery Method (APDM) experience highly desired (CSP, CMAR, D-B, JOC, etc.)
