Job description

Felix Construction is seeking an Electrical Project Manager for its Phoenix office. The role ensures accessibility and traceability of job materials across projects ranging from $250 k to $50 M. The candidate will communicate with clients, general contractors, superintendents, safety officers, field personnel, estimators, and other project stakeholders. Experience in the water/wastewater, industrial or heavy civil construction, and electrical controls is desired; exposure to industrial electrical is required.

What You'll Be Doing

• Work closely with clients, GCs, superintendents, safety officers, field personnel, estimators, project managers and other related parties.
• Coordinate and manage reports, budgets, material schedules, work schedules and equipment purchases.
• Process change order requests and related project administrative documents.
• Generate effective and accurate submittals.
• Review and prepare operations and maintenance manuals.
• Represent the company professionally.
• Work out of Felix’s Phoenix office with frequent site visits.

Who You Are

• College degree in electrical engineering, construction management, or equivalent years of experience in industrial electrical construction.
• Experience in the Water/Wastewater market strongly preferred.
• Able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks to maximize efficiency.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of NFPA codes and inspection procedures.
• Knowledge of electrical design, installation and procurement.
• Clean driving record.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project, PowerPoint).
• Strong work ethic.
