Job summary

NuVista AI, a U.S.-based technology company, seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead AWS Cloud, Data, and AI projects. You will plan, coordinate, and oversee delivery, managing scope, schedules, resources, risks, budgets, and stakeholder communications across globally distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage AWS Cloud, Data, AI projects from initiation through completion.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, and resource plans.
• Define objectives, scope, deliverables, responsibilities, and success criteria.
• Coordinate globally distributed teams across engineering, QA, DevOps, data, AI, and business units.
• Lead project kickoffs, planning sessions, status meetings, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Track scope, progress, risks, dependencies, issues, decisions, and action items.
• Identify blockers and coordinate timely resolutions.

About The Team

You will work with a globally distributed team of client delivery leaders, solution architects, cloud engineers, data engineers, AI specialists, DevOps professionals, QA teams, and business stakeholders.

Our teams collaborate across locations and time zones to deliver complex AWS Cloud, Data, and AI projects. You will help create structure, maintain accountability, and ensure that project teams remain aligned with client expectations and business priorities.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and oversee the successful delivery of AWS Cloud, Data, and AI projects.

You will manage project scope, schedules, resources, risks, dependencies, budgets, and stakeholder communication throughout the project lifecycle. You will work closely with clients, technical teams, and company leadership to ensure that project commitments are clearly understood and delivered on time.

This role is ideal for a hands-on project leader who can bring structure to complex initiatives, coordinate globally distributed teams, and proactively resolve issues before they affect delivery.

What You'll Do

• Manage AWS Cloud, Data, AI, application modernization, and automation projects from initiation through completion.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, resource plans, and delivery timelines.
• Define project objectives, scope, deliverables, responsibilities, and success criteria.
• Coordinate globally distributed engineering, QA, DevOps, data, AI, and business teams.
• Facilitate project kickoffs, planning sessions, status meetings, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Track project scope, progress, risks, dependencies, issues, decisions, and action items.
• Identify potential delivery blockers and coordinate timely resolutions.
• Maintain project documentation, status reports, meeting notes, and decision records.
• Monitor budgets, resource utilization, milestone-based timesheets, and delivery commitments.
• Manage scope changes and clearly communicate their impact on costs, resources, and timelines.
• Provide accurate and timely updates to clients, leadership, and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure project requirements are clearly understood by all participating teams.
• Support testing, user acceptance testing, production readiness, deployment, and project handoff activities.
• Ensure deliverables meet agreed quality, security, compliance, and technical standards.
• Promote accountability and follow through on commitments across project teams.
• Conduct post-project reviews and document lessons learned and process improvements.

What We're Looking For

• At least five years of experience managing software development, cloud, data, AI, or technology projects.
• Demonstrated success delivering complex technical projects from planning through production.
• Experience working in a consulting, professional services, technology services, or client-facing environment.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, resource coordination, risk management, and status reporting.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional and globally distributed technical teams.
• Practical understanding of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project management approaches.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
• Experience managing project scope, budgets, dependencies, risks, and change requests.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to translate complex project information into clear updates for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain accountability without close supervision.
• Confidence working directly with clients and senior stakeholders.
• Availability and responsiveness during U.S. business hours.

Nice to Have

• Experience managing AWS Cloud, Data, AI, or application modernization projects.
• Familiarity with AWS services and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience delivering generative AI, AI agent, data lake, ETL, or data platform initiatives.
• Knowledge of the AWS Partner Network or AWS Marketplace delivery processes.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Certified ScrumMaster, PMI-ACP, or another relevant certification.
• Experience using Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Asana, or similar tools.
• Experience with milestone-based billing and professional services engagements.
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, QA, security, and production release processes.
• Experience supporting clients in regulated industries such as healthcare or financial services.
• Previous experience working in a fast-moving startup or consulting environment.

• Deliver assigned project milestones on time and in accordance with agreed standards.

• Successfully manage multiple AWS Cloud, Data, or AI projects from initiation through completion.
• Improve project predictability, delivery quality, and stakeholder satisfaction.
