Job description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Project Manager with our corporate investment banking client in their New York, NY location. This is a 6 month + contract and 100% remote position.

Role Summary:

We need a hands-on, delivery-focused Project Manager to help drive a software project from development through pilot testing and into production turnover. This person will support coordination across global teams (US and Europe), with a strong preference for candidates to align with Pittsburgh working hours.

Key Functions:

1. Own and drive project execution across teams and stakeholders
2. Run weekly scrum calls; act as the point person for downstream coordination
3. Provide weekly reporting to senior management and ensure delivery milestones are met
4. Partner with users to test pilot features and draft turnover documentation
5. Document processes and manage project artifacts in Jira and Confluence
6. Coordinate with GitHub-based codebase and development efforts
7. Collaborate with the bank-provided PM on administrative tasks
8. Represent the project in client and user conversations—requires strong soft skills

Requirements & Preferences:

• PM with solid technical understanding (ideally some Angular familiarity)
• Skilled in Jira, Confluence, GitHub
• Strong interpersonal and reporting skills
• Able to work UK hours starting 7am to coordinate with both US and European teams
• UK-based preferred, though flexible for the right candidate

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience
• 8-10 years of experience in software development
• Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus
