Job summary

LeoForce in Nashville, TN seeks a mid-level Project Manager to lead healthcare construction projects from conception to completion. You will review project details, schedule deliverables, estimate costs, and drive procurement and contractor management in a fast-paced team.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in construction project management, strong leadership, and proficient use of MS Office and PM software. Travel to site locations is required, with company-covered expenses.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a construction project manager with at least 3+ years in a similar role.
• Deep understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
• Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
• Strong MS Office and construction/project management software knowledge.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities.
• Team leadership and collaboration capabilities.
• BSc/BA in engineering, building science, or relevant field.
• PMP or equivalent certification would be an advantage.
• Experience in risk management, scheduling, cost control, procurement, and team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers and architects to determine project specifications.
• Negotiate contracts with external vendors for profitable agreements.
• Obtain permits and licenses from authorities.
• Determine resources (manpower, equipment, materials) from start to finish within budget.
• Plan construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to meet deadlines.
• Acquire equipment and materials and monitor stock levels.
• Hire contractors and staff and allocate responsibilities.
• Supervise laborers and provide guidance as needed.
• Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety standards and report issues.
• Travel 4 nights a month to project sites; travel and expenses covered by company.

Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager in the Construction industry to join our team. This role will be responsible for overseeing and directing construction projects (Healthcare) from conception to completion, reviewing the project in-depth to schedule deliverables, and estimating costs. The successful candidate will have a background in building construction, architecture, or related fields, with a strong understanding of construction procedures, material, and project management principles. Responsibilities

• 1. Collaborating with engineers, architects, etc. to determine the specifications of the project.
• 2. Negotiating contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
• 3. Obtaining permits and licenses from appropriate authorities.
• 4. Determining needed resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations.
• 5. Planning all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met.
• 6. Acquiring equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies.
• 7. Hiring contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities.
• 8. Supervising the work of laborers, mechanics, etc. and give them guidance when needed.
• 9. Evaluating progress and prepare detailed reports.
• 10. Ensuring adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues.
