Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Project Manager for our Ft Myers office with experience in commercial projects for our small projects division. Projects range from $10M to $150 million, including new construction and renovations.

You will have a seat at the table and growth opportunities with a company that values leadership and collaboration. The role requires strong organizational, budgeting, and communication skills to deliver projects on time and within scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Building Science, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry.
• Proven experience managing commercial projects, tenant improvements, and remodels.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and implementation skills.
• Strong leadership, team management, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of construction project management from planning to implementation.
• Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
• Develop full-scale project plans and related communication documents.
• Communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
• Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
• Draft and submit budget proposals and adjust budgets as needed.
• Negotiate with contractors and subcontractors.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
• Use project management tools to monitor hours, budget, plans and spend.
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
• Create and maintain project documentation, plans and reports.
• Ensure standards and QA tests are met.

• Proficient in project management software.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
• Solid understanding of the project management principles.

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• In‑depth understanding of the construction industry and current market trends.
