Millis Development & Construction in Texas seeks a highly motivated Project Manager to lead commercial ground-up construction projects from pre-construction through completion. You will be the primary liaison for stakeholders, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, high quality, and safety standards.

You will collaborate with Superintendents, Estimators, Admins, and Operations to plan, execute, and close out projects, maintaining accountability for performance and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing commercial ground-up construction projects.
• Strong budgeting, scheduling, and team leadership skills.
• Solid understanding of contracts, risk mitigation, and safety standards.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, pre-construction, and kickoff meetings with stakeholders.
• Manage budgets, financial tracking, and cost control to ensure profitability.
• Oversee subcontractor buyout, contract negotiations, and scope alignment.
• Administer RFIs, submittals, plan updates, and construction documentation.
• Issue monthly payment applications and manage cash flow forecasts.
• Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks.
• Monitor progress with detailed scheduling and coordination.
• Collaborate with Superintendents for long-range and daily site planning.
• Manage change orders, invoices, and purchase orders.
• Provide weekly updates and ensure clear stakeholder communication.
• Drive project to Substantial and Final Completion with proper closeout.

You’ll collaborate closely with Superintendents, Estimators, Admins, and Operations teams to proactively plan, execute, and close out projects, maintaining full accountability for project performance and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Procore).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
