Job summary

Bayside Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to lead planning and implementation of Epic projects, coordinating operational, technical, and vendor teams to deliver initiatives on time and in scope.

Responsibilities include governance, meeting coordination, testing/training plan development, and Agile/work-tracking support, with emphasis on Epic EHR and large-scale applications in healthcare IT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 4 years of full-time experience managing complex information systems projects.
• 3 years in PM responsibility for large applications and team leadership.
• Experience substitution: education may be substituted year-for-year for up to 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project delivery from discovery to closure with standard artifacts.
• Maintain governance, communication, and project documentation; track metrics.
• Coordinate project meetings with agendas, notes and action items.
• Ensure resources meet timelines; escalate when needed.
• Create testing and training plans related to projects.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration and decision-making.
• Support the use of Agile/work tracking platforms.

Job description

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead the planning and implementation of Epic projects. The project manager will coordinate operational, technical, and vendor teams to ensure the successful delivery of Epic initiatives on time and in scope.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Overseeing project delivery from discovery to closure, creating and using standard project artifacts (Charter, RAID, etc).
• Ensure project governance is established, and communication occurs effectively at all levels of the organization, and maintain project documentation and track performance metrics.
• Coordinate project meetings, including setting the meeting agenda, notes, and action items.
• Ensuring that all resources assigned to the project are meeting timelines, escalating when appropriate.
• Create testing and training plans relating to projects.
• Drive effective cross-functional collaboration and decision-making.
• Supporting the organization's use of Agile/associates' work tracking platforms.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Possession of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, data communication, information processing, or a closely related field.
• Four (4) years of full-time experience managing complex information systems projects, which must have included three (3) years of project management responsibility for large applications systems and team leadership experience.
• Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis up to a maximum of two (2) years.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Epic EHR preferred (Tapestry)
• Executive Reporting & KPI Metrics
• Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience with Managed Care healthcare operations and change management.
• Possession of a current PMP (Project Management Professional) certification issued by the Project Management Institute.
