Job summary

ManpowerGroup's client in St. Paul, MN is seeking a Project Manager / Project Engineer to lead capital improvement initiatives, HVAC and electrical upgrades, and facility infrastructure modernization within the Engineering and Capital Projects team.

You will manage multiple projects end-to-end, oversee budgets and schedules, coordinate contractors and vendors, review shop drawings and RFIs, and drive safety, quality, and timely delivery in a manufacturing and laboratory environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management or project engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, cooling towers, chillers).
• Experience managing multiple projects, budgets, and contractor relationships.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple capital improvement projects, including HVAC replacements, electrical upgrades, roofing systems, and facility infrastructure modernization initiatives.
• Oversee the full project lifecycle from planning and design through construction, commissioning, and project closeout.
• Coordinate contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to quality standards.
• Review project documentation, shop drawings, RFIs, and change orders while monitoring project costs, schedules, and technical requirements.
• Conduct site inspections, provide project status updates, and support facility operations by minimizing disruption during construction activities.

As a Project Manager / Project Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering and Capital Projects team supporting facility infrastructure upgrades, manufacturing operations, and capital improvement initiatives.
