Job summary

The International Erosion Control Association seeks an experienced Project Manager in Manassas, VA to lead HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years PM experience in multifamily or residential construction, with expertise in scheduling, procurement, RFIs, change orders, budgets, and cost control; Procore experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, or MEP construction.
• Experience managing multifamily, apartment, residential, or similar projects.
• Experience with RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement, scheduling, and cost control.
• Procore or similar construction management software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical construction projects from kickoff through completion.
• Coordinate with general contractors, owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams.
• Manage submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, change orders, procurement, and project documentation.
• Monitor schedules, budgets, billing, forecasting, and overall project financial performance.
• Identify project risks, scope gaps, cost opportunities, and potential delays.
• Support field teams by resolving technical, logistical, and project-related issues.
• Coordinate project closeout, as-built documentation, owner training, and project turnover.

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing multifamily, apartment, residential, or similar construction projects, with expertise in project scheduling, procurement, subcontractor coordination, RFIs, change orders, budgets, and cost control.
