Insight Global is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to oversee complex, high-dollar federal construction sub-contractor projects from planning through completion. You will manage schedules, budgets, and quality for infrastructure initiatives across Texas and Arizona, with start in Lukeville, AZ.

Qualifications

  • 5-8+ years of experience as a construction Project Manager.
  • Experience with General Contractors or Subcontractors in electrical, civil, steel, mechanical, or structural trades.
  • Experience overseeing self-perform work across any trade.
  • Experience managing projects valued over $20M.
  • Federal construction project experience (CBP, USACE, NAVFAC, DoD, DHS, AF, DOT, municipal).
  • Proficiency with MS Project scheduling, Bluebeam, HeavyBid/HeavyJob or equivalent PM software.
  • Experience managing project cost controls and financials.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules using MS Project.
  • Oversee project budgets, cost tracking, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Coordinate with superintendents, engineers, subcontractors, and federal stakeholders.
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Utilize Bluebeam for drawing review and markups.
  • Ensure compliance with federal requirements, safety standards, and quality controls.
  • Support estimating and preconstruction efforts as needed using HeavyBid/HeavyJob.
  • Drive projects from preconstruction through closeout.

Job description

Our client is seeking a Project Manager to support a top federal construction sub-contractor specializing in large-scale design-build projects. This individual will be responsible for overseeing complex, high-dollar projects from planning through completion, ensuring schedules, budgets, and quality standards are met. This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful infrastructure projects supporting national security initiatives across Texas and Arizona.

Lukeville, AZ (1) – Start Date 9/28, remote until 11/01/2026 and will then be full time onsite. Daily per diem is paid out for seven days, there will be a company vehicle, and gas card provided.

  • Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules using MS Project
  • Oversee project budgets, cost tracking, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Coordinate with superintendents, engineers, subcontractors, and federal stakeholders
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation

Must-Haves:

  • Must have experience overseeing self-perform work - any scope of trade works
  • Experience managing projects valued over $20m in budget
  • Federal construction project experience: CBP, USACE, NAVFAC, DoD, DHS, AF, DOT, city/state, municipal construction
  • Proficiency with MS Project (scheduling), bluebeam, or heavybid/heavyjob, or relevant project management software
  • Experience managing project cost controls and financials
