A leading Building Automation Systems (BAS) integrator is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team in Las Vegas, Nevada, on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager with a strong background in Building Automation, Controls, and Commercial Projects to take ownership of the successful delivery of a range of projects.
The successful candidate will manage projects from initial handover through to completion, coordinating internal teams, customers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required technical standard.
The Role
As a BAS Project Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Managing multiple Building Automation and Controls projects simultaneously.
- Taking projects from initial handover through installation, commissioning, and final completion.
- Managing project schedules, budgets, forecasts, labour requirements, and resources.
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients, contractors, consultants, and internal teams.
- Coordinating BAS technicians, programmers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Monitoring project progress and identifying potential risks or delays.
- Managing change orders, project documentation, reporting, and financial performance.
- Attending client and site meetings throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensuring projects are delivered in line with customer expectations, technical requirements, and company standards.
- Supporting the successful commissioning and handover of Building Automation Systems.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience within the Building Automation Systems industry.
- Previous experience managing commercial BAS or controls projects.
- A strong understanding of Building Automation Systems, HVAC controls, and associated mechanical and electrical systems.
- Experience managing project schedules, budgets, change orders, and client relationships.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Tridium/Niagara systems would be highly desirable.
- Niagara certification would be a strong advantage.
