Job summary

OTC Industrial Technologies is seeking a Project Manager to plan, lead, and deliver complex projects spanning mechanical and civil disciplines. You will assemble teams, manage budgets and schedules, and communicate progress and risks to stakeholders.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of PM experience with contractors or manufacturers, a technical degree, CAD/BIM familiarity, and strong organizational skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years project management or coordination experience with a general contractor, equipment manufacturer or equipment distributor.
  • 4-year degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, Construction Management preferred, OR equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of rotating equipment (pumps and motors); familiarity with municipal Water/Wastewater equipment, processes, and technology helpful.
  • Able to reference, read and interpret detailed engineered specifications and plans including P&ID.
  • Highly organized and efficient; skilled at multitasking and managing numerous orders/projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to create and modify CAD drawings using AutoCAD and/or similar.
  • Fluent with Office 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, TEAMS, Projects/Planner, etc.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines while managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive project plan outlining scope, objectives, timelines, budget, resources, and risks.
  • Assemble and lead a project team, ensuring the right people with the necessary skills are assigned to the project.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies, implement contingency plans as needed.
  • Develop and manage the project budget, schedules, track progress and provide regular financial reports to stakeholders.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and issues.
  • Establish and enforce project quality standards.
  • Ensure all project deliverables are completed and meet quality standards.
  • Close out the project, documenting lessons learned and sharing insights with the team and stakeholders.
